Esq. concerning property titles for Free Church Of Scotland properties in South Africa and with a view to consolidating records of ownership. 3ff., 33cm, 60 lines, last leaf with summary title only, folds from storage. III- Printed summary of Free Church Of Scotland property and financial position, listing property ownership, including schools and dispensaries, divided into in areas in India, the New Hebrides, and South Africa, and a full statement of finances, including bequests. Folio, 34cm, 6p.folds from storage, small spit at bisection of central folds. Formed in 1843 by breakaway members of the Church of Scotland, the Free Church of Scotland quickly began missionary work, sending missionaries and emigrants to New Zealand in the 1840s and subsequently to Africa and India. The Church is still active in such activities today. A good copy.
